Hi Sam,
I checked into leasing games from Rentrak but it seems as if the titles are very limited. From the way they explained it, a game really only has one shot to make it's money and the manufacturers are hesitant to offer those as part of a rev share program. By that I mean, games are only released once. A movie is released in the theater, then on DVD, then pay-per-view or on-demand, cable and then t.v. so it has lots of opportunities to generate $$. I think they're perception is that if they rev share or endorse renting, not as many people will go out and buy that title and they essentially lose money.

Vpd offers what they cal a video game game buyback program. I dont take advantage of it as i feel no need to do it. But, you order the game through them and after a period, usually 8 weeks they will offer a price that they will buy it back for.
