What does one call this forum style? I'm trying to argue a point for this type of group rather than those crappy yahoo email groups, and I don't know what to call this...Can someone tell me?

I jusut sent an email to"Hardcopy" asking this question, and I sent a copy to myself, but it has not shown up in my inbox, so I am asking here on the forum.

Incidentally..I just noticed that the first topic is "About VideoRentalBiz.us"...
I assume that was the original name/site url.  Shouldn't that now read...  "About VideoStoreCentral.com"?

Probably should. This site is a nuke-style site. Called because of the biggest program out there like this called PHPNuke. It is in the category of CMS (Content Management System). Yahoo Groups is basically teh same type of system, just laid out a lot different and has different options. It would be pretty simple to reconfigure this site to look almost exactly like yahoo groups.

Nice thing about yahoo groups is that it doesn't require a hosting account or in this sites case it's own dedicated server.

I can't think of a single reason why anyone would prefer a site to look like 'yahoo groups'...  maybe I'm missing something...
