Had a customer return World Trade Center.

I asked, "Did you like it?"

He answered, "Turned it off, not enough action."

This is the same guy, my dog (friendliest dog in the world) almost jumped over the counter to attack (only time she's ever done this).  Other customers have said, "Your dog knows something, that guy ain't right."

Still dumbfounded by his response.  What did he want, Steven Segal to come in and save the day?

I have restaurant style menu boards in my store and I use these to write this weeks releases down so people can know what's coming out.  This quote is due strickly to my bad hand writing.

"Stomp the Tard, is that a comedy?"

I think everyone will get a kick out of this one. The audio is a little bad though. We've all been through a customer almost as bad as this one.

Everyone should be renting that series (LITTLE BRITAIN).  It's a huge hit here.

Same here. I bought it for myself when they first came out and I have a huge following for it now.

My favorite of all time:

Customer "I'm looking for that Twilight Zone episode where William Shatner is in the airplane."

Me "Here you go, 'Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.'

Customer "No, that's not it."

Me "groan" as we proceeded to argue for 30 minutes.

A lady came out of the tanning bed today and said she loved bed #2 so much better than #1 because it was so much bigger, she could move around better in it.

I looked at her for a good minuter before saying, "they are the same size. The room is bigger, but both beds are exactly the same."

She would not take my word for it.  She still thinks one bed is bigger than the other.

The best one I ever had was in the first month I owned my first store.
Customer comes in, a lady who appears to be in her 50's
customer: "Do you have Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"
me: "yes I do, right this way"
I then walk over to the movie and hand it to her.
customer: "Was this done by the same people that made Million Dollar Baby?"
me: "Ummm I don't think so..."
Then I hear a sound behind me, she had thrown the movie onto the floor behind me
when I turned back around she was walking out the door.
To this day I have no idea what happened.

William Shatner was in two episdoes of the Twilight Zone. The second one is "Nick of Time"

Had a good one this weekend...

Customer: Do you have the Errol Flynn version of "The Three Musketeers"?

Me: (slightly confused) I don't believe Flynn ever did a version of Three Musketeers ... do you mean his version of Robin Hood.

Customer: No, his version of three musketeers

(going to IMDB and pulling up Errol Flynn, the customer and I go through the entire list for 10 minutes, thinking it might be under a strange name. )

Me: Nope, it doesn't look like he made a version. Maybe you are confusing him with a different actor? (I begin to pull up lists of Three Musketeer movies)

Customer: (interrupting and looking angry at me) Well FINE, If you aren't going to help me and just call me a liar, I'm Leaving. (storms outs)
