Early on in my "tenure" I wasn't a big fan of Bs. I've warmed up somewhat, but they still on general generate less profit than the A's. That being said, they are a necessity. Enough of my pontificating. Here are some recent one I have really liked (even if they don't rent great):
Wooly Boys 3.5 stars
Dear Frankie 4 stars
Mickey 4 stars
Rory O'Shea 4 stars
Pitcher and the Pinup 3 stars
Imaginary Heroes 3 stars
Stone Cold 3 stars
Prozac Nation 3 stars
Criminal 2 stars
Those are some off the top of my head.

DIRTY FILTHY LOVE - Better than DANNY DECKCHAIR. Best film of the year
FEAR X
SUSPECT ZERO
DEADBIRDS - Finally a great American horror film!
EULOGY
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
DIG!
WAYDOWNTOWN - An indy OFFICE SPACE
LAST SHOT
LOVE SONG FOR BOBBY LONG
Love the Bs. Love the Bs.

Some B's do great and some do so-so. but almost all make money. They are hard to sell though so don't go deep on them.
Dead Birds (very good)
Employee of the Month (very twistedly funny)
National Lampoon's Going the Distance (unoriginal but everyone likes it)
Control
Madhouse
Close Your Eyes
Bookies
United States of Leyland
Highwaymen
All of these have done quite well for me and you should be able to pick up used or new fairly cheap.
7 Seconds (solid action)

Great lists guys. Some of those movies I brought in as majors. I try to divide the Bs up into either "A-" titles, like Love Song, Being Julia, Highwaymen, Godsend ect, where I get 4-8 copies. Or B titles where I get one copy. If it was in theaters but not widespread I will give it an A- and push it hard, putting it on the main shelves.
Anyways to add to their lists:
Equillibrium
Finder's Fee
Cube
Fool Proof
Stark Raving Mad
Vanity Fair
Undefeated
Carolina

Cool! I'd love to see a comment on each as well...but not a synopsis...just a very concise 2-5 words would be fabulous!
I watched "Wilbur Wants To Kill Himself" last night..and I enjoyed it alot! Some twists, a bit sad..but good. (oops--7 words) ;-)
AROUND THE BEND-Chris Walken, family road trip
I AM DAVID-Hope & the human spirit--great family film.
PAULY SHORE IS DEAD-Dumb, but fun to find the cameos
WE DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE-realistic marriage-great for people in rocky relationships, to see what they do to others & their children
Caught up on current titles? Here's some definitely worth watching from the past couple years:
SHAPE OF THINGS-though provoking, great for a group
INTERSTATE 60- What would your one 'wish' be?
KISSING JESSICA STEIN -a fav! great relationship movie, not a lesbian movie...

Suspect Zero did and still is doing really well for us! I was quite surprised. Also, The Machinist, which I had not even heard of, until seeing it on this board - Glad I did cause it has not been on the shelf since we first put it out (we only have 2 copies). The same is true with 7 Seconds.

"7 Second"s got horrid reviews...but I guess I'll get it in now! Has anyone ever seen/heard anything about "FAT SLAGS"? Saw it on the net and it looks like it would appeal to my curious low life crowd...

You have a low life crowd also. You should try some of these
Hillside Strangler (very disturbing)
Mansion Family unrated (even more disturbing and offensive)
Original 50 Cent (every gangbanger wannabe in town will watch it)
Dirty States of America (same as above)
The Passion of the Jew (most people just show it to whoever they came in with and laugh at it)
Lost Reality 1 and 2 ( not sure what to say but get em they're cheap and will rent)
I might have to check on that "fat slags" sounds interesting.

How'd you do with the one called "INBRED REDNECKS"? It rented 21 times --just the one DVD, mostly based on the stupid cover art...check the reviews at Amazon. hysterical....
