I have 125 DVDs on the first  list...many are still factory sealed, and they are all in great condition.  I'm asking $7.50  each for any quantity under 20,  21+ are $7.00 each,  50+ are $6.50 each.

Take the entire lot of 125 for $6.00 each plus your choice of shipping.

There are maybe 3? oldies....  most are from the past 2 years...

I have VHS for sale as well if anyone is interested.  Both recent and catalog filler.

I have a 2nd list, The DVDs on  List 2  are the ones I presently have listed on amazon.com, but I would be willing to include them as well.  Bear in mind that I sell 5-10 each day, so the titles on that list can change quickly.

If you would like to see the lists, please email me.  They are in excel format but If you are unable to view that, let me know.

I also have angled grid shelving for sale cheap!! 4 ft and 2 ft Mostly gray VGC and some white GC, 4 ft, 3 ft, 2 ft.  These work great for either DVD or VHS.  I don't have any extra grid wall., but those can be purchased used.

Have you tried sqsvideo.net. They are a great way to unload overstocks. They pay the shipping on 50 or more units and you should recieve a check within a week or 2.

Well, I have an interested party but they are located in Canada.  And they are trying to figure out a way so that they don't have to pay a high import/duty/whatever it's called.  How much would it be if we listed the true value (well-my selling price, anyway) ?  It's 250 dvds for $5 each=$1250.   I can't seem to find it anywhere on the net.

We thought about opening all the DVDs and placing them in envelopes to cut down on the expense of shipping all the cases.  Even sending the sleeves separately in a regular envelope used for shipping documants.

Anyone have an ideas on the best & most economical way to complete this transaction?   You can email me directly if your prefer.

Chris,

Check out this site for customs information on importing to Canada:

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sme/menu-e.html

Also, I've shipped goods both into and from Canada. If this a business to business transaction, there may be NO custom duties or taxes applicable.  I believe both shipper and recepient must provide their federal tax ID numbers to be exempt. If it's going to a private consumer (non-commercial) then you'll probably pay duty. You can call the customs office for Canada to confirm.

Automated Customs Information Service (ACIS) 1-800-461-9999

Also, if you plan to use FEDEX or UPS as a shipper, they can help with all the paperwork and probably answer your questions.  FedEx helped me alot. They'll even pay the duty for you and in turn bill you later if duty is required.

As far as removing the dvd's and artwork from the cases, all this will do is slightly lower your shipping costs. The customs duties are based on the classification of the item being shipped and the value placed on it. Weight wouldn't be an issue here.

Hope this helps,

Paul J
