Where would you go to get catalog titles?   Like right now I need 2 Gorky Park on dvd.

Ingram's Chicago branch has 27 of them in stock. Not sure who your distributor is.

We use Ingram also but quite often end up on Amazon buying the item used.  Even after shipping costs, the DVD or tape could be less then buying directly from Ingram.   Of course, if a customer has requested a new, unused DVD we head to our regular distributor (Ingram) first.   If the movie is just one that we would like to have on the shelf, we try to get it as cheaply as possible.

Well in this case check Ingram. Their cost is pretty decent <$10 and is easier. Smiley

95% of the selection is from there and the other 5% is new releases taken down to catalog titles

Baker and Taylor is great so far - they have mostly everything in stock and always are nice to me on the phone.
