Hey,

I'm working on try to do my own "active customer" report.

Back in the VSDA benchmarking days, an active customer was considered someone who came in at least once in the past year. Some have said that's not enough to be considered an active customer.

Anyone use a certain # of visits a year?

Thanks
Todd

Todd

I guess it depends on what you want to use the list for. Purging records I would definitly keep 1 year old customers.

Marketing I would use 1 approach for recent to 6 months old and another for 6 monhs and older.

We never purge any customers. For marketing purposes I consider an active customer one who has rented on at least 2 occasions within the past 12 months.
