The guy is a notorious short seller and has been short on Netflix since August which could cost him BIG though.  He barely touches on NF eating up so much bandwidth.

He has probably lost a ton of money shorting the stock - he literally seems bitter and slightly passionate when he explains their flaws...I hope that the NF stock price does come back to reality, they are trading at a ridiculous premium however that will not effect the little guys in any way. NF has always been a well run company and will find a way to deal with the bandwidth issue - we are all toast.

Such a defeatist attitude? Just start clipping cable lines! I really don't think streaming is going to kill IVRs, but then again, I was sure 8-tracks were the future Grin.

I still collect 8-tracks.

We have Time Warner cable broadband. I tried out the Netflix stream on a Saturday night 8:30 p.m. and got buffered to death. Unwatchable. I hope the cable/content combos such as Comcast and Time Warner will have no mercy on Netflix and will squeeze them hard. Make sure to write you Senators and Representatives and let them know that cable companies should NOT be regulated. If they are then the government will try and force open access for outfits like Netflix to send unfettered streams into our customers' homes at the expense of the cable and content companies.

That's part of the "Net Neutrality" they're pushing right now. Let's hope the new congress finds more important things to spend their time (and our dime) on. Thing is, it's the cable companies lobbying for infrastructure improvements and more bandwidth to go around. They just want to extort millions more by throttling the highest users.
