I heard that splice and Nightmare on Elm street which had been scheduled for release this Tuesday have been pushed back because of disc manufacturing problems.

Anyone else have any info???

I got mine Friday and have every intention of putting them out!  I watched Nightmare last night and there were no problems with the disc.  I plan on watching Splice tonight.

Mine were not in the Friday shipment.  Splice was shipped on Friday and I should have it Monday.  Nightmare has not been shipped so I probably won't have it for Tuesday unless they send them next day air.

I get mine from Rentrak who ships through VPD.  I think it's more a Warner problem since I had to wait an extra week for the new Batman/Superman movie.

Interesting to note, Splice is not scheduled to be released in Canada until the 12th.  I have had my Nightmare on  Elm Street since Wednesday.  I will get Splice in my next shipment that should arrive this Wednesday for next Tuesday release.

I checked Amazon, it shows the 5th for American website and the 12th for Canadian.  That doesn't happen very often although I have seen it happen for a few titles in the past.

I use Ingram and I was told that the studio is the reason they are late. I never got them at all. So I guess when we open in the morning I'm going to have many upset customers.

Went to Walmart this morning and bought both for 15.00 ea.
Jonah Hex and The Lost Boys are having the same problem.
VPD doen't have them as of this morning.
I guess I'll get those at Walmart as well next Tuesday.

Lots of Warner product is late at Ingram in the last 6 weeks. Is this also true of Warner product thru other distribs/channels? Or is it an Ingram "exclusive"?!?

it seems to be everywhere, not just Ingram.  My Rentrak rep says they've switched disc duplicators and are having a hard time keeping up with orders.
