Netflix will not have Karate Kid next week.  Sony has not yet officially announced  that they will be delaying titles to Netflix.

Saw that as well (don't recall where) that Sony is gonna start delaying major titles and that the remaining studio's would move that way shortly.  We'll see

I believe Sony is one of the studios that has an agreement with Redbox for premium placement of their titles.

Just confirmed it with Sony. Netflix will be on 28 day delay starting with Karate Kid. Not sure about the other perticulars but they are going to be sending them to us.

How long before the studios delay the IVRs too? Maybe demand minimum rental/sales prices to avoid "devaluing" the product? Perhaps I'm a little paranoid, but I think about these things.  Shocked

After a couple years of dvd sales dropping and blu-ray not catching on, they'll blame us.  I'll still go to Target, but if there is a Blockbuster, they will be screwed.
