You also only use a lot of liquid on the first few times doing it. As for the messy interior, just suck it up, it is gonna be messy, just scrape it out when it gets too much. Loved mine though. Not sure about the new pad issue, the old pads would last me a long time.

The vibration i mentioned in an earlier post was the first machine i had. the company replaced it.

Hardcopi, with this pad problem, it never stops needing compound. It wears it away too fast and doesn't build up.

Do you mean that your pads are like cotton and dissolve after one use ? or are you actually seeing the pads come apart as they are buffing the disks ?
How long are the pads suppose to last on average ?

I spoke with Specialty Store Shopper (the one in ILL.) and they said they have a new shipment. I hope the problem is fixed but I haven't ordered any.
Videosilva, they don't dissolve, exactly, just rub away unevenly and very quickly. They should last 150 to 200 1 minute buffs. I'm getting 20 or less! And using WAYYY too much compound. IMO, they aren't as dense as they used to be.
