Does anyone else use Waxworks?  I've stuck with them mainly because they've stuck with me.  However, whoever is doing their data entry up there is TERRIBLE and any complaints have fallen on deaf ears.  Many titles now I cannot tell if they are blu-ray or dvds, and it's happening increasingly for video game formats as well.  I can look up UPC codes I guess, but that's a pain in the ass.

I'm seriously considering VPD.  Are they just as bad?

I have been using VPD for almost 3 years now and I have had no problems such as described.  Their website is very easy to use and my rep is the best.

My predecessor used Waxworks for the longest time but stopped about a year before she sold the store to me.  I think the reason she stopped using them was not because of any problems but that she owed them quite a bit of money.

I also have enjoyed doing business with Ingram, very attentive. The exception being one Game Rep, but that problem was quickly solved.

I used to work at Ingram and when I first opened they pretty much ignored me.  They must have lost a ton of business soon after because they bugged the crap out of me a year later.

We use VPD/Rentrak, but honestly we try not to use VPD when we can, mainly because they cost more (when you can get a lot of titles for $9 to 12 on the day of release from Target, amazon, etc).

Mcmarc,
I don't like the changes at Waxworks, either! I really depend on the buyer's guide but now they have taken that away and, your right, the new incomplete format stinks! I love my rep and the company in general but they need to listen to their customers. Although my rep says some people actually like the new format, go figure. I hope I don't have to change companies because the other two options were unsatisfactory as well.
