does anyone know how to adjust 2 for 1 in Phoenix?

We are starting our "February Double Feature" where a customer may rent 2 movies for the price of 1.
We added a level to the pricing matrix in Phoenix that only charges $3 when 2 rentals are taken and we did this for 3 pricing categories... Adult, New Releases, Catalog.
The issue we found is that if a customer chooses 1 movie from new releases and 1 movie from catalog, it does not automatically apply the discount, only if 2 movies from the same category are rented does it automatically apply the discount.
We came up with a temporary fix, by manually applying a 2 for 1 coupon to the transaction, but we want to make this as simple as possible for our clerks, where no thinking is involved.
If anyone has done this, please advise how. Thank you.

The only other way that I know of how to do this would be to set up packages. The only drawback is that you would have to set it up for all possible combinations. 2 NR, 1 NR 1 Catalog, etc. And you would have to set it up for different rental period combinations, 1 day, 7 day.

Thanks Steve, that will work. I didn't realize how it worked until I just started adding multiple price codes.
