Well I hope everyone had a busy winter like I did. It really was like old times. More customers. I can honestly say that facebook has helped soooo much. I have over 200 friends now and counting. I have many new customers because they are getting to know us on facebook. Tanning has been strong. All rental items have been renting. It's been great! I just wish it would last. Going to keep praying that it does.

It was suggested that I add everyone in my zip to my friend list on fb. How?

Go to the suggestions....If you have friends already...there should be suggestions on the right side of your page. Just add everyone. I'm over 300 friends now. They write me and ask questions and want to know what is coming out on Tuesdays and they ask about tanning pkgs. It is awesome!

Just adding friend suggestions won't help. 95% of my friends live out of town. I need a way to reach locals. Any ideas?

Just put in your city and state and look up people and start adding them as friends.

I am assuming that you have set your page up as a personal page and not a business correct? Because I have a business page and there isn't a suggestions section.

Sorry I haven't replied. My computer crashed. Yes I use the personal page and made it my business page with my store name. It's very easy to do and it's Free!

well as soon as the warm weather hit the movie rentals died....it didn't help when NOTHING good was released either. It's always this way at this time of year. Thank God for tanning!

When people have been inside for months due to the cold they can't wait to get outside. Ballgames start, soccer, fishing...it takes good movies and games every week to keep customers coming in. They make up for it when it rains or gets cold. Just gotta save money thru the warm months to get ready for the cold ones. It's been a good year so far!

After the best winter best year ever, the pendulum has swung FAR the other way. It's very very dead right now. I know people are tired of us and want to enjoy the outside, but I wasn't expecting it to be this slow. No rain for weeks and none in the forecast either.
Next week looks good with releases though.

Here in Oregon, where we don't tan, we rust, April and May are my slowest months. It gets busy again when school lets out, usually the first week in June. This year is already better than last year.
