I was wondering has anyone seen the movie SAW yet???  I just finished watching it and must say it was AWESOME...

Slightly on the gorey side, which is always good for a Horror flick, but the twistis and turns it takes you through was SWEET!!!

It reminded me alot like the GAME with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn.

On the net, it has been posted that they are in the works to followup a sequel SAW 2 - Hacksaw...  Word has it, it should be released in the month of October of this year!!!   Smiley

I saw it in the theater and loved it. Very reminecent of "Seven" with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.

I liked it, but it was very immature, especially compared to a movie like Se7en.

The movie was way too eager to show and tell, whereas a more restrained approach could have resulted in something ten times as disturbing and frightening.

Sean

Not immature in content, but rather in how the content was delivered.  Despite being adult in nature, it was at the mentality of an 8th grade level.

Now that would be really scary.  Shakespeare in Love 2: Return of the Will.

I've always found it a little ridiculous that so little is expected from scary movies on an intelligence level, and sad that so many scary movies live up to that expectation.

Sean
