I purchased the Venmill 3500 buffing unit less than 30 days ago along with extra buffing wheels, 2 bottles of solution and an extra pad.  I have the original receipt if interested.  I paid $2215 plus shipping.

It is very easy to use - most discs only take 30 seconds, or you can deep buff for 60 seconds.

You can go here:  http://www.venmill.com/product_info.asp?productID=20  for more info.

Email me with an offer @ sungifts@sport.rr.com.  All offers will be considered.

Why are you selling it after only 30 days?  What kind of results did you find with this machine?

The results were good.  It will not get out deep scratches, but did very well on most discs.  The disc looks new with a shiny finish and no swirl marks after running it through the machine.  It is very easy and quick to use.  However, we did have some discs with deep scratches that my husband thought should have been repaired (although I told him that the machine was not for deep scratches), so, he thinks that the machine is not doing what it said it would or should be doing and he is not happy with it.

I was under the impression that it had a 30 day money back guarantee, but it does not.

I was thinking of putting it on ebay, but thought I would try here first.

I bid $100! (ok ok, so it is not a fair price, it is my budget for one, which I suppose explains why I don't have one now).

Richard, your bid is way to low.  I'll raise that bid to $102 and I'll even pay the shipping (geez, I hope shipping doesn't cost $1898 dollars  8O ).

Take that Lester!  :weight:

The Venmill is a great unit but you will still need a machine such as the RTI Eco Junior if you want to be able to repair the heavily scratched discs. I've had a Venmill for a year now and use it at least 100 times a day. Nothing leaves my store with scratches or fingerprints. I really can't imagine life in this business without it.

How much are the RTI Eco Juniors?  The website doesn't give any prices and that usually means that it is really expensive.

About $3500 but if you are only able to buy 1 quality repair machine this is the one to get.

I collect about $150 per month from customers when I repair their discs and I have a friend who in a little over a year collected enough in repairs to cover the cost of the machine.

BeckyJo,  I paid alittle over $2700 for mine and that included a starter kit.  the RTI Jr. is a great machine.  I've already repaired over 200 dvd's only been unable to repair 2 out of 200 because of data side damage.  Plus i've had customers in the store seeing me do this and ineffect they have brought me their cd's and a few games for me to repair for them.

You're right Ken. I paid $2915 which included shipping and some extra supplies I bought at the same time.

I really like the RTI but the Venmill is so much quicker! The RTI is the one that will make you money if you choose to offer disc repair to your customers.

during a typical week we use the venmill machine about 2,000 at all our 6 stores combined.

During a typical week we use the RTI machine about 15 times at all our 6 stores combined.

Big difference.  We currently are using our machines only for our rental inventory.  If you are charging people $$$ for dvd repair, a RTI is a must have.

The redesigned venmills are working great.
