hddvd $89 with 7 movies

tigerdirect.com has hddvd players for sale $89 with 2 movies packed in and 5 by mail.  yes hdvd is dead, but it still works as an upconverting dvd player, plus 7 movies!!! Even at 10 bucks each that is $70.

I already had a hd player, but i got this one just foir the movies.

I can tell you from personal experience that the Toshiba hd-dvd player is TERRIBLE at playing discs with scratches.  You've been warned.

I guess it is a good thing you can repair the discs, both dvd and hddvd.  unlike the blu-ray, which can not be fixed.

I'm going to wait untill some guy walks in my door and asks if buy HDplayers.  Then I'll make him an offer and see what happens.  Good point about it being a suped up DVD player.  DVD players new are 30ish so maybe I'll offer $15.  If I get one I'll post here.  Hee hee.
