Anyone heard of a distributor who 'leases' movies?
We had a chat with our adult movie distributor and he's recommending looking into this one company who leases new release titles. He owns his own video store and that's how he gets his non-adult new release movies.
The way he explained it is let's say you want 10 copies of a title. You're required to buy at least 1 of those at regular price (~$20). The remaining 9 copies, you lease for 30 days for $10 each. After 30 days, you have to return those 9 copies. If for some reason, you can't return 1, then you pay $10 more for that copy to, basically, buy it.
If you bought 10 movies at $20 each, that would be $200. With his plan, you pay $110. So, you save $90. You keep all the revenue you make on those movies.
The company has a website
http://infinitygame.com/ , but it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while and the sign up page doesn't work. I don't see any information on the plan on the website. Everything seems to be behind the login page, but you can't log-in if you can't sign up.
