Look you cannot argue with a box.
You cannot tell the box you gave me the wrong movie.
The red box does not hand out refunds if the dvd does not work.
You give the red box credit card first, then you get a crappie movie.
It does not work the other way around.
keep the dvd for 25 days, your credit card will be hit for 1.00 a day
Plus the cost of the movie.
if the box is full of that title, then you must mail it in while being charged
1.00 For every day it is in the mail.
You can call the number on the box, but it does not mean thing will go your way.
You will still be charged 1.00 a day.

all of the cheap people with credit cards will hit that box and destroy
Everything put in it.

as the old saying go's
You get what you pay for.

Those of you who have stores competing with redbox, have you been able to tell how much it has effected your business? We have one coming to our small  town at the local supermarket and I'm trying to gauge its impact. Anyone know of opinions of satisfaction with the kiosks? Those of you with rentrak have you thought about extending your rental times to compete?

Thanks-Count

We offer exactly this option on catalog.  First day is $3.00 each additional day is .31 which adds up to $5.00 including tax for 7 days.  New releases are $3.00 the first day and $2.00 each day after,  Therefore a catalog movie out for a week is the same cost as a new release out for 2 days.

We've had this pricing since January 1st of this year.  Most customers just take any movie out overnight and if they return the movies late, they are quite pleased to know they only owe a couple of bucks or less when returning a catalog movie up to a week late.
